Channeling my inner 80s makeup & hair

80's Makeup look
Hair look is below after pics
What I used:
BH Cosmetics Brazil Palette
BH Cosmetic blush Palette
white covergirl concealer stick.
Rimmel blue eyeliner & black
Loreal 24hr. Lacquer gel liner in black
Jordana Fabliner in black
Jordana Mascara in black
Eyllure Eyelashes
wetnwild fergie eye shadow primer
Jordana modern matte lipstick in adorable
Kat von d contour kit
Morphe "the essentials" brush set- i used all the brushes
special recognition to the thin eyeliner gel brush and the eyebrow brush for creating this fab eye look in precise detail!!

So I was inspired my a pinterest photo i saw of pat benator and of the blue electric earrings I found at the thrift store.
I started with my primer, and the concealer stick, then drew a line in blue eyeliner for a cut crease. I then blended different shades of blue with green and yellow shadows from my Brazil palette.I used my fabliner to draw the actual lines around my eyes and the wing liner on the other eye. For the brows I used my gel lacquer to shape and design them. I blended them down into my eye shadow with the black shadow from the Brazil palette, I lined top and bottom waterline with my black rimmel eyeliner. Applied my mascara and lashes. I had already done my normal foundation routine just went heavy on the contouring for a more defined rock face. I added a bright blush and then my lipstick.
I had a blast creating this look. I felt like I was in the 80's getting ready to perform on stage. I wish the new JEM movie's makeup and hair were more like mine. I'm pretty unimpressed by the movie previews so far.

This look reminds me of  Jem/Pat Benatar like

80'S HAIR

I went to youtube! I knew I wanted big full hair like the girl in wayne's world and in most 80's movie the vixen had that big teased hair. I found this video https://youtu.be/8qqpEutstoI
I did exactly what he did except two things. One I sprayed my roots with not like your mothers dry shampoo spray alot for added volume and two when I got to the top I felt it need way more teasing, so I teased the top more. I then just hair sprayed like 3 more layers with my tresemme hairspray.  Gave me the exact look I was going for however I would recommend a stronger hairspray because mine was starting to go flat within 4 hours.
