Neverland birthday party/fairy gardens

WELCOME TO MY DAUGHTER'S 3RD BIRTHDAY
"NEVERLAND THEME"
(peterpan, fairies, pirates, and tigerlily tribe)

I asked that everyone dressed in character for the party.
When the kids arrived I either added highlighter on their cheeks to be a fairy or a mustache on the boys to be a pirate.
The menu was simple. Traveling tacos!!!
Pink Lemonade to drink.
Watermelon pieces.
A fairy cake.

DIY/HOMEMADE ITEMS were mainly how I achieved this party.
1st
I made the tigerlily's teepee and campfire.
I bought:
4 wood pieces from Home Depot.
metal wire from ACE hardware
3 yards canvas like fabric from Walmart,
(I could have used 4 yards but I cut it to make it work)
Staples & a staple gun
optional: branches & feathers
I used the wire to hold the wood pieces together at the top.
Then measured the fabric around the wood to see how I wanted it look then stapled the fabric to the wood.
I added branches and feathers at the top.
For the party I added pillows and blankets!! Really fun

2nd
Table toppers.
I found little black and white peter-pan images and printed them.
I cut to fit the stand I found at the dollar store.
I placed them on a white plate with the flower vase I made.
(see below on how to create)

3rd
Flower Vase.
I used a basic can that I cleaned. I applied burlap ribbon around.
Tied it in a knot and just stuffed the ends into sides of ribbon to prevent them from showing.
I added water and split a bouquet of carnations between the 3 cans I needed.
I tied rubble bands at the bottom of the carnations to hold them together to look the way they did.

This is my display of the homemade head crowns on the branch & homemade fairy wands, as well as the display of all the garden supplies they needed to make their fairy gardens with.
Fairy garden supplies included plants, rocks, seashells, pieces of wood, small rocks, small star fairy wands.

4th
Homemade Fairy crowns
I used wire to shape the crown.
The wrapped green twine and hot glued it to the wire where it needed to be.
I added pieces of false flowers and butterfly paper clippings by hot gluing as well.

5th
Homemade wooden sign + bag full of fairy garden goodies

The sign is just scrap wood we had painted and nailed to the wood. I used acrylic paint.
I bought sandwich bags and filled them with small rocks, diamonds, small bead like mushrooms, moss, etc.
Then stapled the bag with a feather.
I made enough for each kid.

Painting station
Everyone received 1 house (bought at micheals) + I had large rocks from the dollar tree that they could paint as well.
I had glue, glitter, brushes, water cups, acrylic paint, paper plates, and little pom pom balls in different colors.

Pirate/Peterpan attire station
swords, eye patches and hats
