My daughter's Minnie Mouse 2nd birthday party.
So for my daughter's 2nd birthday we threw a Minnie mouse theme party at our local Peter Pipers.
Brought our own table clothes, napkins, and plates which I purchased from oriental trading and silverware from the dollar store.
Cake
I made my own cake out of marshmallow fondant and for the black mouse ears I used the black fondant at Michael's by Duff. I used edible markers as well to draw on the cake.
Wrap a rhinestone ribbon around and glued with edible glue. My sister in law painted the #2 candle and added rhinestones. Added the stuff Minnie mouse on top and that was it.
Candy bags
I ordered plain hot pink bags from oriental trading, cut ears from black paper, printed the thank you for coming to the party and hot glued them together. Found the Minnie mouse ribbon at Michael's and hot glued that to the paper bag with the ears.
Popcorn boxes
Ordered these from oriental trader added the same mouse ear thank you's. I bought store bought popcorn, I had originally wanted gourmet kettle corn but ran out of time.
Minnie Mouse Straws
Ordered the straws from oriental trading. Hot glued mouse ears and pink bows. I placed these in a cup we had bought at Disney on Ice.
I loved how this party came out and how despite having to throw it at peter pipers we made the party our own.
