How I dry my clothes that I'm afraid of shrinking or damaging.
A lot of these clothes are my dress clothes for work or our cotton clothes.
So once I pull my clothes from the wash I begin separating the outfits that can go in the dryer and the clothes that I need to dry differently I put aside.
Must of my clothes that can't go in the dryer I hang up on hangers to air dry.
However, I have a few sweaters and a pair of pants that the tag instructions say to lay flat to dry.
Always read your tags and remember the piece of clothing in case the tag gets removes or the instructions disappear and go blank.
(has happened to some of my tags...)
If I need to lay flat something, I do that on the wash machine for the night.
I have found pieces of clothes that require to be laid flat do dry fast!
Don't have a line to dry clothes like me?
I put the clothes on hangers and hang them in my shower on the shower rod for the day or night. Even a towel rod will work.
Just be careful too much weight on the shower rod can cause the rod to collapse.
This is easy, private, and can be transferred straight to the closet.
If wrinkled, iron it based on those instructions again.
If not sure start at the low setting and move up based on how the clothes is reacting.
If the iron starts to stick, it is too hot!!!
PlUS, IF YOU START AT A HIGH SETTING YOU CAN REALLY DAMAGE YOUR CLOTHING WITH AN IRON MARK.
Idk if this helped anyone, just thought Id put this out there if anyone needed it.
XOXO,
