ALLERGIES?!? SINUS?!?

Allergies?!
Sinus?!

I have suffered with this my whole life, I actually think they are genetic due to the fact my father has allergies and my mother has sinuses, and well I got both. We live in Arizona which is probably the worst for allergy/sinus stuffers.

Well I am here, simply to aid in what helps. Yes, I could and probably should get allergy shots or tests done, but I haven't, I am a very busy person. Yes, I have a blog and instagram but for the most part I run these while at work or multi-tasking with other things like taking my kids to the doctors, etc. Total different topic that I'll save for another day.

So, for me I usually wake up middle of the night having a sneezing attack or my throat itching. Sucks. So then I go looking thru my cabinets in the dark for my allergy or sinus pills. Or mid-day I start sneezing and sniffling at work right before the rain and monsoons, never fails, my body can predict weather probably better than the weather channel. lol Arizona has random weather. For example the random golf ball size hail yesterday night!!

:Over the counter products that work:

1. My go-to, just starting to have allergies. Solution for me is
the target brand of Zyrtec. Most of the time this is on sale, I remember the first time I bought this product it was like $3 or something crazy cheap and that's why I tried it. Its always on sale. Don't be afraid of the store's own generic brands. This product is for allergies.

Product = UP & UP All day allergy relief
              various sizes depending on the amount of
              pills.

2. My go-to if the pills are sort of working but I need something stronger method or if I am out of the pills. This is a little more expensive but amazing!! I know some people stay away from sprays because for some people they can become addicting, fortunately, I'm not one. I hate taking meds, I will take them at a last resort. You can find coupons occasionally in the newspaper and the Catalina coupons from Walgreen's.

Product = Nasacort Allergy 24hr Nasal Spray

3. If your throat is swollen or none of the above are working or for bedtime use. I will resort to good old Benedryl. Sometimes I feel like my body can get use to the above products so they lose their effectiveness, so I switch it up with this. I also take this sometimes at night to help me sleep with my nose feels all Ferris Buehler and clogged. I can only take this before bed, this makes me pass out!!!

Product = Benedryl Allergy

4. Now Sinus are a little tricky. They make me have pressure all over my head and the worst headaches ever. They can cause infection and then the over the counter meds can't help, only a doctor can, I've had a few. Before they get bad I will use a sinus/allergy because I get both together. If you've been fighting sinus for a long period of time, I would go see a doctor, there is no use in suffering. You need antibiotics to cure this.

Product = Tylenol Allergy/Sinus non- drowsy

I hope this aided someone who is suffering like me. We will survive!!!! Make sure to stock up on tissues, or get your bandana handy and eye drops!!! If you wear contacts. Make sure to put allergy eye drops in without contacts on and wait about 10 minutes before putting them back in!!! Also to prevent red noses or swollen red noses, try Vasoline or Carmax in between sneezing. Keep those areas from getting irritated, because it doesn't feel cute to have to rock a red reindeer like nose or a peeling nose!!!
